Take time

Take time to think;
it is the source of your power.

Take time to play;
it is the secret of your youth.

Take time to read;
it is the foundation of your knowledge.

Take time to dream;
it will take you to the stars.

Take time to laugh;
it really is your best medicine.

Take time to pray;
it is your touch with almighty God.

Take time to reach out to others;
it will give your life significance.

Words of wisdom

"I don't dwell in the past; I don't wallow in old events and emotions. I don't waste time on regret. No use going over and over the details of what already happened."

Today - The poem

I got this wonderful poem through email, a very thought provoking. It teaches us, how powerful we are! And, the credit goes to one, who has written this.
Outside my window, a new day I see
and only I can determine what kind
of day it will be.
It can be busy and sunny, laughing
and gay, or boring and cold,
unhappy and gray.
My own state of mind is the
determining key, for I am only the
person I let myself be.
I can be thoughtful and do all I can
to help, or be selfish and think just
of myself.
I can enjoy what I do and make it
seem fun, or gripe and complain and
make it hard on someone.
I can be patient with those who may
not understand, or belittle and hurt
them as much as I can.
But I have faith in myself, and
believe what I say, and I personally
intend to make the best of each day.

Child labour
Related to country: Pakistan

The menace of child labour is found in many developing countries including my own country Pakistan. I and many other concerned people feel very sorry seeing the children working hard at a very tender age instead of going to school. In Pakistan, children can be found working in garages, cleaning the windowpanes of cars, polishing the shoes and doing many other odd jobs.
